Sneak peek tests?

Has anyone done this? What do you do and how do you do the blood sample? Like is it a finger prick etc.

I did! Tested around 12 weeks I think. I bought it straight off their website. Sign up for their emails and they'll send you a 10% off coupon. It's a simple finger prick test but you do have to fill up a vial container they provide you. I forgot pregnant women have more blood than usual - I made a big mess! Haha. It said girl (which confirmed my suspicions!) but we aren't formally announcing gender until a gender ultrasound at 17 weeks. I need to see the actual parts first!! 😂

Just a finger prick! I did mine at 10 weeks and it said boy, confirmed at 14 weeks definitely a boy :)

Make sure your insurance covers those other tests. Since I'm not considered high risk, my doctor wouldn't even order that for me. Also it would've cost close to $1000 for the genetic testing. For me, personally. I saw nothing wrong with sneak peek, I'm still counting on a normal ultrasound to actually confirm for sure. I did sneak peek for fun, my doctor hasn't had anyone's results be wrong yet. Take it with a grain of salt!

There's a class action lawsuit against them saying it's only accurate 60% of the time (I believe). If you want to know that bad, do the harmony or maternit21 test or just wait til your gender scan! I think sneak peek is a waste of money. At least w harmony or maternit21 you'll know if there are chromosomal abnormalities
