basal temp vs. opk

Hi. So this is my first month charting my temp. This morning I got my peak day on my clear blue advanced kit, but my temp went down and yesterday my opk said it was low... should I trust my basal reading over the opk? Obviously we will keep BDing but I just thought this was strange
