is it bad to change formula on baby constantly? I've given him 4 different formula in just one week

My little guy😍 poor has a bowel movement immediately after feeding. Sometimes during feeding he starts to poop almost diarrhea like. I feel like his stomach is not getting strong enough because of this. Am I loosing my mind. It kind of breaks my heart to see him ripping ass so soon after his Feeding. I have changed his formula too often. So far the alimemtum is the only one hardening his stool. Hew did not gain any weight in his first month and he was breast feed 90% of the time and 10% formula. I loved breastfeeding my little man and now I feel like I was robed of this because I needed to fatten him up. I don't know what to do anymore.

Babies are gassy. They also often poop during feeds and that poop is not solid but runny and loose, breastfed poop looks like Grey Poupon mustard. By switching his formula so much you are going to cause him gastro intestinal problems.

We were sold by the Dr that it's fine to swap around formula until we find one that works, as long as it's the same type of formula. I.e cows milk to cows milk / soy to soy ect. Four types in one week is probably a bit excessive though, try to give it at least a week so you get a proper reading of whether that brand of formula works for baby.

It's normal and healthy for them to have a bowl movement after every feed. It's also supposed to be runny... babies don't have solid poops till they are on a regular diet of solid food. Do some research, it will make you feel better. 
Switching the formula so often will be super hard on his lil tummy... pick one and stick with it. Poor lil guys tummy has to be going thru some awful changes if his poop is hardening up.

Baby's poop should be runny. It doesn't need to be hard or firm. And no you shouldn't be switching the formulas that often. That could be the reason his poop is getting firm/hard, he's getting a belly ache as well as probably not digesting the best that he could be because of the switching. It's also extremely normal for babies to poop during a feeding. I'd contact your doctor before you switch anymore and ask their opinion on the situation.

I think it is pretty common for babies to poop at every feeding. Not mine, but I know other babies that have multiple poopy diapers a day.

I did read that it is heart to keep the baby one one type of formula, so find one that you like and that sits well. It has to do with the bacteria in the baby's stomach - it adjusts to the formula, so if you change it often it can lead to gas. Baby just use one kind for 3 days and see how it goes.
