I went to an obgyn/obstetrician .. And I need to get an ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby and overall growth. I told her that the doctor that she recommended to me for the ultrasound is not in network for my insurance. She said I could find someone else. So not happy with her over all. My only question about the sex of my child was not answered by her but the person who drew my blood...she was very dismissive and matter-of-fact..that was my first and last time seeing her. Im not upset with her for recommending a doctor out of network but the fact that she didn't care and her overall service. I was just another patient to her. My question is doctors that do an ultrasound are they called something specific? I don't know what to look for. Can someone help me?
