why do some women gain weight when they're in a relationship?🤔💏

When I got in mine I started to gain weight now I get called fat😔 I noticed other women that I know have too.

It was eating what/how/when my boyfriend (now husband) ate. He is very slender and hasnt gained weight since college. Ive gained ten pounds since i met him.

You go out to eat, you sit on the couch and snuggle, there's a reason the say, "Fat and happy" 
Just try to work some active dates and some healthier home meals.

You could just be really comfortable with him,  so you start to relax and maybe not notice as much as what you are eating calorie wise?  When your trying to date many women are worried because it's new but once your comfy you stop worrying

My husband says I made him gain weight lol... I haven't thought I was 125 when I met him and lost weight don't know why or how.. went down to 115 now im up to 120  😁😊. I think he gained weight because I try to cook all his favorite foods and he just can't resist my delicious cooking lol😂😂

You tend to eat how the other person eats when you get into a relationship and depending on what you eat as well will factor into it. it can go both ways its not just women it happens to. I have a high metabolism and like to eat a lot so my SO eats when i eat. He gained weight while i didnt. He used to be very fit when he was younger and did the same thing with eating when his ex got pregnant. All the weight went to his stomach and he lost his abs. And after about 2 years of us being together he started gaining more weight. He just likes to say he's rocking the dad bod now lol.

The reason for that actually really depends on your relationship with one another. It may be because you're trying to live a lifestyle like he does… Eating junk food and not exercising and maybe he has a more physical job than you so he burns it off better. Or you may just have gotten comfortable and don't feel like you need to work on it as much since you have a comfortable stable relationship. Or if you fight a lot, what happens is you may emotionally over eat or your subconscious may actually be storing that fat as a protective mechanism. That happens if you're being emotionally abused and you don't want to be sexually intimate with your partner, your body subconsciously will gain weight to protect you from having to do it. It sounds crazy, but it is true! Anyway your partner is a big old butt head for calling you fat! How rude! I gained weight after my daughter and my fiancé still thinks I'm beautiful. He would never in 1 million years call me fat. Even if it's the truth LOL.

Is just think cause you've settled down with someone who makes you happy. Me and my husband put on weight after we first got married. Our two year anniversary is coming up and I'm only 10 pounds away from when we first met and he's starting to lose weight too. We both want to feel better about ourselves and look a little better again. There's nothing wrong with gaining weight though. If you're happy that's all that matters
