marriage at the courthouse ?

I don't know where you guys live(I live in NYC) but have any of you been through the marriage process at the courthouse? How much does everything cost?(just like paperwork and stuff like that) I was doing my research online but I'm just curious to know from people who experienced it, thank you so much!

I'm in CT. I paid $30 for the license, I think $20 for an official, stamped copy, and nothing for my justice of the peace because she worked at town hall and we were there during her regular hours anyway. She was super nice not to charge us.

I'm from Texas. My marriage license was $77 and then $75 for the JP to do the ceremony.

I got married at the court house! It was wonderfuk! I'm not sure if the prices vary if you are in a different place, but just ask!
