Some body recommended me waiting for 6-8w. It quiet long time... I'm thinking about 4w. Hmmm! Can any moms help?

The doctors say don't until you have been cleared which should be at a six week appointment. I had a friend who stopped bleeding week two and went for it. I personally wouldn't.

Personally I never waited the 6 weeks but I read a thing to say wait till you're done bleeding cause that means you're cervix is healed so that's what I've done shortest I waited was 8 days pp because I was done bleeding.

I would check with your doctor. Mine says​ 4-6 weeks but she will let me know for sure after baby is born

My dr always said 6.... I've always waited 4.  This time I'm going to wait the six though as my hubby is getting his ding dong pierced again which also comes with a 6 week recovery time and I'm nervous that if we both don't wait our specified times we are more susceptible to infection. I've never had complications resuming at 4 weeks in past however and even that length of time can feel like forever!

I know plenty of people who have waited less time or been told by their doctor that is is preferred 6-8wks but that I'd you stop bleeding and feel no pain anymore or soreness, that you can have sex when you are ready it just depends on your recovery.
