Sexting with stranger!!!!!

I've been sexting with a guy from Tinder for 2 months and he's absolutely amazing!! We'd been talking all day and night not only about sex but also about our lives. We both felt like we're soulmates and looked forward to a future together. 
Unfortunately, our first date turned out to be under my expectation. He's just not my type and i could feel nothing at all (and this was definitely not about his appearance)
I told him so and he accepted it. But i feel so sad i've been thinking a lot. What i'm i supposed to do? Please help!!!
