My boy and my dog have been best friends for ever! But now my darling boy is going onto solids things have taken a turn. Our dog is a rescue dog who was abused and teased with food for two years when she was a puppy. Everything had been going fine while breastfeeding but now he's eating food she is getting really jealous. Well today I had been giving him some carrots crisp things no problem. He was sat playing on the bed with daddy's crisps packet (still full) because he liked the noise and I thought nothing of it. The dog just snapped I got in the way and nothing happened, I'm just so upset she did it. My husband didn't see and hopes I misunderstood but I saw the look in her eyes. We love our dog so much, she helped my husband get over his depression and was one of the reason I fell in love with my husband. But I can't risk this happening again! I do t know what to do for the best! And helpful advice and no judgement would be appreciated. I know they should be separated but I thought that would make her more jealous.
