exclusive pumpers?

How often do you pump and how much do you get? Are you pumping around the same time baby is eating? I've been exclusively pumping for a week and the past couple days I'm not getting enough. Any tips?!! Thanks

Typical recommendation is at least 8x per day for 20 min per session (min of 120 min per day). Frequency helps, so power pump sessions can help bring up supply (20 minutes on, 10 min off, 10 min on, 10 min off, 10 min in). There are other strategies etc but that is what worked for me and we were able to EP until 6 months before my supply dipped below what my daughter needed. Read exclusivepumping.com for great advixe

I exclusively pump & have since week 3. I used to pump 8 times a day but have weaned down and currently pump 4 times a day, 30 minutes each time, and I get between 30-37 ounces a day. I used to have an over supply, and got as much as 50 ounces a day, but mastitis 3 times and a 9 week and 2 week yeast infection killed my supply. My little girl east between 24-30 ounces a day so I have plenty & can even freeze. I also have about a 90 day supply frozen from my previous over supply. Try flax seed in smoothies, Fenugreek, brewers yeast, steel cut oats, lots of water, and make sure you're taking your prenatal still.
