clarithmizyn 12 weeks pregnant
My OB wants to place me on amoxicillin, Prilosec, and clarithmizyn while 12 weeks pregnant because I tested positive for h. Pylori. I have no symptoms and not in any pain. My pharmacist says that clarithmizyn is not safe for me right now, and my family doc advised me to not take it and get treatment after the baby is born as it's category C and not safe for the baby. So I guess my question is what's your guys opinion on it while pregnant. And anyone else had h. Pylori before while preg?
