Am I in the wrong?

My boyfriend and I had a massive argument and broke up last night. We've been together for 5 and a half months now.

So I met a guy through one of my girlfriends and he tried to hit on me once, but then I had broken up with my current bf and we were in the process of making up. but it turns out hes like that with everyone. He's one of those over flirty guys and means no harm.

He recently told me he wants me be to be his nude model ( he's an artist). He promised to pay me hourly and he's making a collection of portrait about six. He said the portrait that sells the most we'll split it evenly.

My bf knows of this guy, they haven't met cause he refused to meet him. He refused me to do the nude modeling thing all because the guy has hit on me before and that he still likes me. I told him he can come to the painting session but he refused. He said he would rather prefer me work for a stranger.

We argued and the argument lead to violence, he didn't hit me but he threw stuff across the room.

I just don't understand him. He does boxing and I hate it but I close my eyes and support him every time he has a match. He said I'm doing it for attention.

Am I so wrong for wanting to do this project?
