blood clot
Sunday I started to have chest pains and I thought it was the same situation I went through about in December when I had to go to the emergency room and the doctor told me to take ibuprofen which I did and it went away the next day. This time however I took acetaminophen since I'm pregnant and nothing happened the pain just seemed to get worse, and on Monday by the time I wanted to go to the hospital I knew I would have to wait a while because the labs were going to be close so I waited until Tuesday after I got out of class and they did some test on me and did not find anything so they decided to do a cat scan which I was afraid of because the radiation with the baby. My doctor told me if I went home and did end up having clots then I could die from them not getting treated so I went on with the cat scan and come to find out not only did I have one blood clot but I had two in my lungs. I was put on blood thinners after being admitted and now I'm home with them as well and was wondering if anyone else went through a similar situation while being pregnant? I just want my little 🌈 to be safe and I'm starting to think that could have been the reason because me having my son so early at 25 weeks as a still birth 😔👼🏽 my doctor told me that could have been a possibility especially since I never had any cat scans before.
