when did you find out you were pregnant

I'm 17 days late on my period.. I taken many test and they all are negative 👎🏻 it's frustrating because I want to know if I am pregnant or not. I had cramps about a week ago that felt like period cramps and a little bit today but no period is this normal if I'm pregnant?. I've never been this late so I'm crossing my fingers!! But how long did it take for you guys to finally get a positive pregnancy test?  And what are the first symptoms you noticed?
