Toilet paper as a panty liner?

Just wondering if it's unsafe or could lead to infections? Currently out of panty liners but will be picking some up tomorrow afternoon. Would toilet paper be a safe alternative? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I agree, kitchen paper towels would probably be better as it's a bit sturdier...? 
Tissue would probably fall apart quite quickly and stick to you...

But if it's all you've got, I'm sure you'll be fine! Just make sure to change it quite often.

Do you have paper towels .. toilet paper will get stuck to your vagina because it's so thin . Paper towel would probably be better . I've done it before starting my period in public and not having any tampons at the moment . Should be totally safe

When that's all that is available in a restroom make yourself a pantry liner!! Better than soaking your clothes

I've used it and it works fine. I usually wraps it around the midsection of my underwear ... like if the underwear were the middle of a roll haha. Leave the end hanging down so it stays rolled. If it ever does shred, it's very little and you can just wipe with a damp cloth to get it off.

I've done it before! I wrap around the underwear like another lovely lady suggested. Never caused any problems.

What about an old face cloth or cotton rag? Toilet paper will break down and stick to everything, paper towel is also a better alternative.

It's gonna degrade pretty fast.. will become like little pieces of paper all over your undies. A toilet seat cover would be more suitable lol
