possible miscarriage?! please help with advice! is this a miscarriage?!

I tested positive for pregnancy on the 11th of this month and a couple days ago I had some very light spotting and cramping but it was not bright red blood in there has not been very much of it so at the appointment they said everything looked decent but they wanted me to do an ultrasound and when I went to the ultrasound they did not find the baby in my uterus but they called today to say that there was a corpus luteum which she said was basically a cyst and the baby releases from that but that cyst type thing hangs around until about 10 weeks and produces the hormones until the placenta is functioning on its own so there was a baby at some point but my hCG levels were only at 200 yesterday so they will repeat the hCG levels tomorrow to see if it is rising and possibly just very early pregnancy which is why we couldn't see anything or if my levels are dropping but I feel like my levels are probably dropping because my pregnancy symptoms seem way less today and yesterday but it doesn't make any sense to me because I haven't had any heavy bleeding nor any bright red blood and I haven't seen anything pass so how could I have had a miscarriage? Please somebody advise me because I am so heartbroken and just got done having a mental break down and curled up in a ball screaming and crying to the point where my eyes are swollen shut! My heart is so broken! And I'm so confused!
