what does it mean?

So I got off birth control Saturday the 15th. I then got the before AF Monday morning then AF arrived Tuesday.

I have tried to read up on getting off birth control. I've been on for 9 years. Since I was 18 so I don't know life without it.

Everything I have read is that it takes people 2-3 month to get AF but nothing about getting it so soon. What does it mean that I got it right away!? Is it a good thing or bad?? I want to start TTC around July.

It's a withdrawal bleed from not having the hormones present. Your real AF will take a cycle or more to come back.

I recently got off birth control as well(after13year). I had a period about a week or so after, that is your body getting rid of the hormones. You should be ovulating like Normal after that, there is no real research to support the 2-3 month thing. You are actually more likely to get pregnant immediately after. I will tell you though my first cycle was on steroids, extreme hormones, hot flashes, sore enlarged breasts, serious cramps when aunt flow came. The next month though I went right back to normal.
