Birth control

Couple quick questions. I'm breastfeeding and was on the mini pill. I started getting really mean. I didn't know if it was just hormones. I'm only 4 months pp. But after stopping the mini pill I've been so much nicer. Any one else get moody on the mini pill? Also we've been using condoms since stopping birth control. I'm afraid that condoms won't be enough for us. I'm so afraid of them breaking. They really don't want me pregnant for at least a year since I had a c section and I really don't want to get pregnant yet either. Lol are there any other breastfeeding friendly birth control I can try? Ones that most likely won't make me mean?
