Anyone willing to share their c-section story and scar pictures?

I'm have a scheduled c-section Monday due to My severe heart problems and I'm nervous! And also curious as to what REAL Mommas scars look like. The pictures on google are all like the same thing. I Just Want to see them and hear your stories! So how was your c-section experience? When did you get to hold baby after? Could I see your scar and let me know how long after your c-section the picture is from? How long did it take your scar to fade? Thank you all so much!

Mine is so low I'm sure someone would report it haha .. But my son is 4 now and you honestly cannot even see it at all. It looked almost like a cat scratch the first few months and then nothing! My doc used the glue not stiches or staples .. I'm about to have another section in about a month & we will see how it ends up looking after its been opened again! I'm nervous ..

This is my scar.. I went into the doctor around 12 in the afternoon at 41 weeks pregnant 3cm dialated they broke my water because it wouldn't pop on its own they kick started my labor I dialtated to 6 cm but then my daughters heart rate began to drop and my blood pressure started to rise so they took me in for a emergency c-section around 2 in the morning she was born at 2:55 in the morning and after they took her out cleaned her up put her between my legs and took us to our room (this was with my first pregnancy) I wanted to try VBAC with my current pregnancy but according to the doctors I won't be able to because normal c-sections (which I didn't have) are straight across the uterus with mine they couldn't get my daughter out so they cut it in a upside down T shape.. so I guess I'll be having c-section number 2 in September 🙂

That's my scar. I had my first c section on 2/27/16. My water broke first, and after no progression they induced me. I was on pitocin for 20 hours and only dialated 2cm. The doctor gave me the option of waiting it out a little longer or having a c section. At that point, I figured if it had been 20 hours and I only got to 2, it wasn't going to make much of a difference waiting around anymore so we did a c section. I'm currently 20w5d and am planning to schedule a c section with this baby as well.

I'm 9 months pp now and you can hardly see it, my doctor did a great job on mine especially for being an emergency c section. Due to being in labor 27 hours plus an additional 4 hours of pushing and my son was just too large for me to come out.

Not really up to posting a picture of my scar lol but I'll share my experience. I wasn't a scheduled C-section. I was induced and didn't dilate. I was in labor for 22 hours, first with pitosin, then they broke my water, then they inflated a catheter on top of my cervix to force it to dilate (most painful thing I've ever expierenced in my entire life). I got to 4 centimeters and didn't dilate any further. After that they said "here take this, it will keep you from throwing up." ...ok.... "We are gonna go ahead and do a c-section." HUH? 😳 got wheeled back 15 minutes later. My scar is what the doc called a "bikini cut", which is standard practice now. It's so low that you can't see it even when I wear a low cut bikini. At first it was about 6-7 inches long, now, 7 years later, it's about 4. It took about a year to go from pink to the color of my skin. I don't even notice it now honestly.
