Were you nervous you wouldn't hear a heartbeat at 12 weeks?

I'm so nervous that when I go in Monday for my appointment they will have trouble finding a heartbeat. Haven't had any signs to show possibility of miscarriage but the thought of it just scares me to death. Especially with knowing many people that it's happened to.

Girl I'm nervous at every doctors appointments! lol I even have a Doppler at home I check on her often but it's something about doctors offices that adds stress. Good luck mama!

Yes! When we went to our first apt at 8+2 we didn't get to hear the heart beats (twins) but could see them both flickering away on the screen. I have another apt May 8th and I'm so nervous something is going to be wrong. I'll be 12+6 that day. And the next Monday I have a special ultrasound my doc does for twins to see if they are in the same sac or not and to look at their placenta. I will be nervous at every apt until they get here no doubt.

I know the feeling. Buy yourself a doppler (mine was 30 euros, so not expensive). I'm now almost 30 weeks and I'm being used as a boxing ball every few hours so I don't need it anymore. It helped me go through "the feeling nothing" stage though. I would listen to his heartbeat daily from 12-18 weeks. If you are anxious it will help you calm down. So worth the money!

My first appointment is Thursday and I'm scared as hell!!! I'll be 9 weeks Thursday. 😰 I have no signs or anything that suggests bad but I'm still so nervous!!!

I'm nervous because my baby cooperates very good during an ultrasound and doesn't move a lot well at all.. I haven't seen it.. But a heart beat is there so idk if that's bad or what lol
