That has happened to me before. My OPKs often turn positive before,during, and/or just after a period. I think it's just that there is a lot of hormone surging through the body and it makes the tests show positive.

They say it reads the levels from your cycle that's still in ur system being so close from af.. Mine recently did that, but my cycle i guess is changing.. Cause it always came on cycle day 15..but i gave it a day then retest.. The first one i tested was negative then progressively got my first true positive the follow 24 hours from last test.. To make it a accurate reading..due to my irregular cycle af these last three months.. (Ikr...baby dust) af due 4/30 no later then 5/3 fingers crossed ot dont..

The exact same thing happened to me! I tested the next day and it was negative. I'm so confused. I had no EWCM like last time. I didn't get a positive OV test until CD 12 last cycle
