surprise baby shower this past Friday 😊
My friends/coworkers threw my husband and I a surprise baby shower! They told us we were celebrating a friend visiting from NC and also the end of the semester (we are all in academia), but after the dinner part of the celebration, they took us downstairs where they had decorated and set up a cake and gifts. 
I almost lost my mind bc I was so amazed and felt so loved. Lately I had felt a bit sad that I'm so far from my family and that we wouldn't be having a shower, so this surprise meant so much to me!Â
