LMP or ovulation?

Question

So I ovulated 4 days earlier this cycle and got a bfp on 10dpo. My gyneocologist wants to go by my LMP but since I ovulated earlier my doctor says it's better to go by my positive ovulation test and just add the 2 weeks on from that date instead. 
Thoughts?

According to my LMP I would have been 6 weeks 4 days, but I had a peak OPK so I was pretty certain that I was 5 weeks 6 days. I had an early ultrasound that day and was measured at 5 weeks 6 days. Ovulation always wins. LMP is for women who have no clue when they ovulated or have exactly 28 day cycles. Good luck!!
