Probably not slim fast. I'd stop that for now and ask your doctor. But exercings is a definite. You might be a little restricted but again something to just tell your doctor and they'll tell you to keep at it like you are, or take it easy. (Meaning if you do weights and stuff like that)

You should check the ingredients in your slim fast. If it has artificial sweeteners I would avoid it. But exercise is beneficial
