Aliens or POC?

Question

So since I have strep and am quite miserable, I was watching BuzzFeed Unsolved Mysteries and read some interesting YouTube comments. Basically this episode was about aliens and if they assisted in ancient civilization like the building of the Pyramids of Giza. This comment was particularly interesting to me.
Do you believe that some things that people think aliens assisted with is just a prime example of whites taking credit away from POC?

Yes. I had multiple professors go over this back when I was studying anthropology in college. It's based on the racist assumption that brown people weren't "advanced" enough to figure it out for themselves. The same is true with the pyrimids in Mesoamerica.

If Pyramids were in Europe, people wouldn't question whether they were actually the work of aliens.

There's the same BS misconception about the Moai on Easter Island. People questioned how the natives moved them around and then the "maybe aliens did it BS starts". Turns out Westerns have now figured out the natives "walked" the Moai by tying  ropes around them. One group would take one rope end and a second group would take another. By alternating the pulling on each rope, you make the Moai tilt sideways and you can make them curve as they do so, so they effectively "take a step forward".

Pyramids are amazing architectural works. And I am amazed that with the resources that existed back then, that they were made. That is no reason to discredit POC, that's something to learn from.

I understand why people would believe that aliens had something to do with it. Even today with actual tools and heavy machinery, replicating that would be extremely difficult. A formidable task! Plus no one actually knows for sure what color the Hebrews/Israelites were. Obviously not white, but most likely not black either. Egyptians themselves were not white. It's some facinating research if you're up to it! So much mystery.

I wouldn't be surprised. It seems like a common practice historically, but I digress before I'm called "prejudice", or "racist" by the poorly educated

I think it's definitely the work of POC and using aliens does take away credit from the ones who actually built them by making it some weird mystery. Like, the Greeks and Romans made amazing structures. Pyramids can be made by humans beings too.

Yeppers. I just watched the movie The Lost City of Z and it was basically about this. Back in the early 1900's this guy proposed that (gasp), there could have been an ancient civilization in South America, and POC were more advanced than they thought possible. He was told to keep his opinions to himself and when he made a speech about it, people laughed at him. So I think the alien stuff is an extension of that.

I mean. They definitely thought that about populations in South America. Straight up read an article for Archaeology that mentioned how Europeans thought that it had to have been western people that got there before they did and built it. :/

I don't think anyone is taking credit away from anyone. Sure u can say that, but when we can't wrap our mind around the "who what where when why and how's" people tend to turn to their imagination.

While I believe there could possibly be assistance with the building process like tools they used to lift the big ass rocks up. I do not believe it was completely made by only "aliens"

It was the same situation with the Mayan pyramids and other fantastic man made architecture around the world, when people can't explain how that came about or how those people who built it were able to do it without modern technology, they grasp for answers. I just don't think it's racially motivated though.

For me the only thing question is how did they get those heavy rocks so high up? No ones really be able to replicate it, also how did they get in on a particular axis ? I believe all the 7 wonders of the world have some kind of mathematical formation to them. For people with no technology to communicate across the world like that, how are there still similarities between all of them if there wasn't some other kind of assistance? Again not discrediting anyone I'm just saying how was it done in such an elaborate way?
