Pregnant or Stressed?

How likely is it for stress to delay your period? I am wondering if my period is late due to the stress of college finals and essays or if I am pregnant. My period is a week late and I really don't want to take a pregnancy test and worry my SO if my period is just late due to stress. Have any of you experienced this and ended up not being pregnant???

You could always take a test and make sure. If you are pregnant you have something to tell him, if you're not then you don't have anything to tell.

My period was 9 days late because of stress. I wound up getting pregnant the next month lol but yes it's totally possible for stress to delay or even cause you to totally skip a period!

Me! My period skipped a cycle even though I wasn't really stressed out. Stress definitely delays your period, my doctor said it's normal! Don't worry about it and it will come soon.
