Who has a bottle warmer?

We received a bottle warmer for a baby shower gift. Is this a good item to keep, or should we exchange it for something we really need? I plan on breastfeeding and pumping for the first few months (at least).

Keep it. I used mine all the time. It helps to warm up frozen breast milk and warms it to the right temp.

I've been told that some babies are pretty happy with my having milk warmed up for them. Might be worth holding off using it for a while; if your baby is happy with cool/room temperature pumped milk, then you might as well exchange it for something you need later on. (Although, depends on the return policy)

I never had one and I'm sad I didn't with my first. I also breastfed my son but pumped as well so my husband could feed him or when he went to his grandmas for the afternoon.... or even convince sometimes if we're running out the door. Going to get one this time around.... but hey with all baby products you'll find what works for others may or may not work for you. Maybe don't open it and keep the gift receipt and if you use it in the first month keep it if not just return it. Most gifts you can return or exchange for a while after getting them with the gift receipt.

I used mine all of the time and I breastfed. I just pulled it out to use this time around to. Remember you shouldn't microwave breast milk or formula to warm up. This is why they make bottle warmers.

If you're breastfeeding & not feeding pumped bottles all the time I would think it would t be very necessary. I'd exchange it for something you would use more frequently. I've breastfed 4 kids & I've never had one.
