Driving after C-section?

C-section mommies, how soon after did you start driving? My baby boy is 11 days old, my doc said 2 weeks. Just curious.

I waited until I stopped using the pain pills which wasn't long at least 1 week

No one ever told me I wasn't supposed to drive after mine... I drove my daughter to her first checkup 3 days after we were discharged. Haha

I drove exactly 2 weeks after my C-section. It was weird for someone who usually drives every day. However just don't over do it!

It's been 7 wks and still haven't. Ob would clear me at 4 wks but the incision got infected so wound Dr hasn't cleared me yet.

My OB said 3 weeks but I think I drove after 2.5 weeks. It depends on how fast you recover and whether or not you're on pain medication.
 I really didn't want to go anywhere but I think I had to take the baby to the pediatrician for her check up or something.

Didn't have a choice but to drive my other kids to daycare when my baby was 4 days old! Was less than 10 min away though so not like it was across town
