How soon after Mirena/IUD removed??

Hi there!!

I'm new :) I'm 23 years old and I had my Mirena removed 5 days ago. My husband and I have been doing it like rabbits since then and I'm curious how soon we will be able to conceive since the removal? 
I've been taking prenatal vitamins for about a month now and I know it varies for each person but has anyone experienced this and willing to share? 
I had my Mirena in for about a year and a half and I haven't had a period in 8 months.

To those of you who were trying right when it was removed, were you only focusing on when you were ovulating or were you doing it all the time to increase your chances?

This is only my experience, however I've seen all lot of ladies with the same!

I had my mirena out last may.. got a positive test in august however I lost that baby at six weeks. I think it's from the trauma of having something effectively ripped out and I didn't give it enough time to heal.

Having said that, I got pregnant again in September and now I'm 36 weeks with a healthy pregnancy.   Good luck!! X

I'm not sure cause when I had my mirena removed I wasn't ttc but I got my period right away so there was no issue with ovulating but I've heard that women have had to issues getting pregnant right after taking it out.
