period stops in shower?😱

So a few of the other women in my life have told me that their periods stop once they get into the shower or tub???? This doesn't happen for me does it happen for anyone else??

i can see why in the tub. not that it stops, just that your are submerged and the water pressure holds it in mostly. but the shower? i don't understand how people thinks that stops a period.

eh, sometimes I still have blood drip it depends on the cycle
