Help - views needed re c section.

Hello, I have low lying placenta, hadn't moved at 32 weeks. Was booked for another scan at 35 but I've had two bleeds with no pain, doc confirms I'm showing symptoms of continued low lying placenta. It if felt that another scan wouldn't add to what they know, but I asked whether I could have a scan anyway and this was declined. I'm not upset by this at all, trust their professional judgement and agreed to be booked in for a c section. My partner thinks I should change hospital to get a scan to confirm. I need some neutral viewpoints, can anybody help?
