Basically, there is this area near my vagina (Idk how to describe it) that has been getting itchy. It always does when I am on my periods and wearing pads. But last month, the itch got worse and I wasn't even on my periods. And I ended up scratching a lot. Later on I found out there was a slight sign of rash, so I booked a doctors appointment immediately. The doctor just said it was due to dry skin?? She asked me to use vaseline every night, avoid bubble baths, and avoid itching again. I did all of that, but all of a sudden today I got the same feeling - the itch. It is in the same area. Instead of itching, I got my torch light on and checked what was up with it. What I saw is very different to last time - it looks like the skin has peeled off and almost raw meat can be seen? There is some sort of clear fluid coming out, which doesn't look gross from the look of it - more like lymph? It's a small circular area, but it's very red. There is no blood as far as I know.

I washed my entire vagina with water, and then shaved off any pubes around that area so I can see clearly - but it wasn't any different. I have applied some vaseline all around the area and decided to not wear my pants and let that area breathe. But it is stinging a lot.

I am really worried, and actually don't know what to do about it? I am planning on going to the doctors, but most of the time they just ignore it saying "it's usual".

P.S. I am 19 and never had sex, so I highly doubt it's some of the kind of STD.

Update: I had thrush and the doctor gave me a cream to use for 2 weeks. It's only been couple of days, but it's almost healed! Thanks for everyone who responded go this and gave advices! 😊
