what happens after shot of methotrexate for ectopic ?

Doc told me she thinks it an ectopic for sure my hcg as been at 400 for almost 3 weeks ... tomorrow I go for shot of metho does anyone know what I should expect please help or will I be able to conceive after ??

I'm so sorry you are going through this! It's a slightly painful injection but not bad. I got 2 (one in each butt cheek😒)
The recovery was not great. It didn't take long to feel better but it comes with cramps and bone pain....Definitely one of the wierdest thing I've ever experienced. It was a pain deep in my thigh bone on the side of the pregnancy. It lasted a few days...2 of those days it was pretty painful even at rest. I didn't want to move at all.
But it got better. I hope i didn't scare you but i wanted to give you the truth. It's scary to go thru this for a million reasons. I'm praying for you.
