Tummy time?

How old does my baby need to be before she can play on her belly?

Before leaving the hospital our nurse said to begin tummy time as soon as the cord falls off.  And to start with half a hour twice a day

As soon as you're home from the hospital :) and you can do it however you want... multiple short sessions throughout the day sometimes works best, since babies don't always love it at first. (It's ok if you start with 5 min at a time and work up from there)

Thanks ladies! When I put her on my chest sometimes she tries to feel up me. Lol. Ao, I kinda thought if she can do that she can probably start playing on her belly.
