Pack and play or crib for newborn?

Question

I'm about 13 weeks with my 2nd child. My 1st born is only 14 months old, and is still using his crib.

Come october, when I'm due, I'm wondering what I should use for the new baby to sleep in. I dont want to buy a 2nd crib, vecause infogure my son will be almost 2 and probably either done with or close to done with his. My pack and play has the bassinet addition but it feels so hard to lay on! Thoughts?

We used rock and play for the first 3 months!

I have this for 1st month or so. I also bought a crib & a playpen. So I guess it's up to baby. Lol.

I'm planning on using my pack n play with the bassinett attachment. I have a snuggle nest & crib also, hopefully she likes one of them

We were goin to use the pack and play but my little one sleeps in a rock and play(pediatrician approved, I know it's not recommended for some but works for us). We plan on using the pack and play soon bc she's growing so fast. I was worried about the mattress feeling hard but they say it needs to be firm. My LO naps in it with no problems. :)

My daughter uses her rock n play and dock a tot right now then once she outgrows the rock n play were switching to her pack n play and possibly the bigger dock a tot

I used a pack n play with a sleeper on top he is now 9months old and I use the bottom portion now he's never slept in a crib. Maybe see if theirs something you can use as padding that's safe
