Breastfeeding toddlers?

Ok so I was having a conversation with a friend and she asked when I was planning to stop breastfeeding my son, I did not have an answer for her as I said whenever he is ready to wean. Her response was "as long as he's not 2 years old" I asked why, she began to state how it did not seem right to breastfeed a toddler. So here I am wondering if others agree or disagree. So what is your opinion on breastfeeding toddlers? When is enough enough?

It's enough when YOU feel it's enough. Don't listen or care about other people's opinions on your breastfeeding journey.

I couldn't breastfeed this time (which I'm so upset about) but my last child I nursed until he was one ... for me him getting bigger and pulling up my shirt in the night or in public was just too much for me... but for someone else they may not care.  Just don't let anyone else's feeling interfere with what you want. I have a Facebook group for breastfeeding moms and everyday someone is posting that they are burned out  from it and literally going threw depression because they feel so tied down but they don't want to be judged. Some of these women are nursing 18 months on up .,. That right there is amazing.. nothing to feel bad about if they feel they are done.

I say breast feed until you want or him I stopped bf my toddler 2 weeks ago it just got hard for me I'm ebf my 2 mo still but I don't believe there a age where they NEED to get cut  off at what ever you decide to do good luck you can do it!! 😊 it was hard getting my toddler off and I miss it but it is easier for me
