What type of birth control are you on, do you like it? And also, if any, what's your worse side effect? Has it ever NOT worked?

NuvaRing. No side effects other than my period being lighter but I can't complain about that at all 😂

Depo Shot. No side effects yet. No weight gain like everyone says and I gain weight very easily. I started the Depo to stop my periods tho because I have endometriosis and my period pains were excruciating. My face is completely clear now too and I don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday and no periods! Lol

I was on the pill for about a year and i had horrible weight gain! I would gain 10/20 pds every month!!! After that i stopped and switched to the iud mirena ! Had it in for a year and during that one year i never had my period which was great and i knew i wasnt pregnant lol. But i started to bleed one month and that was weird so i made an apt and i also couldnt feel the strings. Turns out it had moved! So i got it removed and got another one put in had one week of SEVERE cramping and bleeding then one day i went to pee and poof the freaking iud is in the toilet!!!!!!! I was freaking out!!! Everything was ok but i ended up going on the pill(different one) which i had no side effects. Now im ttc so not bc lol goodluck!

The pill for 9 years. No weight gain, no mood swings, nothing. I get very few cramps. I used it before for a year with a ex and never had problems, never had pregnancy scare. I like the assurance of taking a pill and I don't want anything in me and I hate needles.

Pill and no huge side affects. Only a little nauseous after I take it but it's not that bad and goes away after a while.

I've been on the pill for 7 years. I've tried a few different brands. I never experienced any serious side effects other than mood swings (and that was because the dose was too high for me). I'm now on the lowest dose possible before going to the mini pill and have no side effects at all. I've never had a pregnancy scare other than when I skipped a period due to having just switched to a new pill but I knew that it was a potential side effect. I have no side effects at all (my breasts may have grown a little but nothing major).
