maternity leave venting

So I'm due may 8th and that's when my leave starts but my work only pays 6-8 (depending on the delivery) weeks but I plan on staying out for 10 so I can have the 4th of July off and I'm kinda nervous to go on leave cause what if he comes late and we have a 3 day Father's Day trip to go on, I'm just so use to living a supper comfortable life to were we never had to budget. Don't get me wrong I have money saved up for this just in case. But I've been working for 4 years (I'm 19) and I'm a work aholic and I love saving money but my boyfriend on the other hand loves spending money. On pay day I normally give him my pay check cause he deals with our bills but like acts strange if I tell him I need 25 out and what ever the change is so I can put it in my savings account. I keep pushing get one open for our son and he keeps pushing it off. Sorry I just needed to vent cause I really don't have anyone to talk to.
