L&D nursery

Does L&D at your local hospital (or the one you plan to use) still have a traditional nursery aside from NICU? My hospital no longer has one and let's baby stay in the room at all times.. it made me wonder if other hospitals are beginning to do away with them now. I feel like this could also help to prevent mix ups between babies.
