Hello mommas! My LO is a calm baby but for the past week she has been really fussy I mean beyond  gas pains...she grips onto my shirt with a fist and  after I burp her she drools a lot and it's almost like she try's to suck on my shoulder..she eats 4oz of formula every 3 hours...it's almost like she's teething but I know its way at to early! She just seems so uncomfortable
I can't figuere it out...it's driving me crazy hate seeing her in pain:(

My baby does the same (he just did it in the last fed) and it usually means that he is overtired and needs a nap. I also burp him up to 3 times every feeding and massage his tummy a lot!

My little guy did the same thing but I went up 1/2 oz more on his formula and that seemed to do the trick. It was because he was still hungry try it.

How old is she? My 7 week old sometimes wants more than 4oz. She usually lets me know if she's done her bottle and I'm burping her.

You can try chamomile tea. My mom used that with us and she said it helps calm them down plus get any gas outta them. They usually poop afterwards from it but it helps out.

She might also have reflux or needs more to eat. My baby is 9 weeks but started taking 5oz about 2 weeks ago, prior to that he was taking 4oz. He doesn't always take the full 5oz but when he wants more he does exactly what you are describing.
