Depo shot can make that happen. I was one it for over 3 years and in that time I found anything that bumped my cervix made me have old blood. My OBGYN at the time said it's just part of the Depo shot stopping your monthly so you end up with old blood and anything that bumps your cervix may cause it to leak some every now and again. Hope this helps so don't be freaking out on your self.

If it's your first time you can bleed a bit. That's old blood and i wouldn't worry about a period at all. If you are concerened then please protect your self with condoms. Also be sure to stay up to date on your shots
