Heartbeat theory anyone?

At 9W appointment heartbeat was 171, does this hint more of a girl or a boy? Or all just urban myths?

Old wives take points to girl... although almost everyone I know that was pregnant has contradicted it when their baby came out 😬

My sons was always over 140. We're having another boy and heart rate was 152 at our first ultrasound. I'm sure it is accurate for some, just hasn't been the case for me!

First child: HR was never below mid 150s (boy)
Second child: HR was 130-140 (girl)
Third child: HR was 130-140 (boy)
All started out in the high 160s to 170s
Fourth child (this pregnancy): so far HR 160s (unknown)

My sons was 140-150 my entire pregnancy and I will find out Friday what this ones is.

They say over 140-150 is girl because boys tend to usually have slower heartbeats. Mine was 180 at my last appointment so we  will see if we are truly team pink! 😁🎀
