sleep training help!
My daughter will be 9months old tomorrow. She has never been a great sleeper but lately she's just been downright awful and I'm about to lose my mind. I'm exhausted. We used to be able to put her in her pack and play on her belly and she would fall asleep on her own. Well she started crawling and now anytime we put her in there she screams and sits up or tries to stand. We havent changed any part of our bedtime routine either.
Recently I've tried letting her cry it out a little bit in but that didn't work. She has reflux and ended up projectile vomiting everywhere that night and the next day. I've also tried letting her cry in intervals and soothing her. But that just ends up making her more upset with more vomiting. I'm not a huge fan of letting her cry it out anyway but the other sleep training methods are not working. Even the "no cry" methods just result in crying. She doesn't like to be rocked at all - she'll just push herself away from you. And if you try and hold her to put her to sleep she thinks it's playtime. She doesn't take a paci either. When we do finally get her to sleep she wakes up at the slightest sound even with her sound machine on.
I don't think it's her reflux either because the only time it acts up is when she cries for an extended amount of time. Someone please help me!
