How would you feel if your adult child became a stripper?

Another topic made me think about this. 
How would you feel? Does the sex of your child make a difference? 
Personally, I would be upset. Because to me, that is not a safe job. I wouldn't care about the fact that they were getting paid to show their bodies, whatever makes them happy, but working in that environment can be dangerous.

I would worry about her saftey. I would not judge her and I wouldn't disown her. I'm saying "her" because I'm having a daughter. But the same would hold true if I had a son. 
Some clubs are safer and the dancers are protected very well and some are awful and a lot of the dancer are pressured, even forced, to sleep with customers. So I'd wonder if she were safe.
If it's something my child just wanted to do because they loved it, I would accept it. But if my child felt like they HAD to in order to make ends meet then I'd do my best to help my child so that they didn't feel as though they HAD to.

Ive done porn for a well known company for a few years before I met my husband n got pregnant so if my daughter wanted to be a stripper I honestly would rather have that than her do wat I did. I would want for her to tell me so I can be supportive of her n look out for her. My husband n I had this talk a couple of weeks ago n we both feel the same

I'd be sorely disappointed if my daughter chose stripping as an occupation, but she'd still be my daughter. We probably wouldn't talk about work though lol.

If you work in a reputable club, it's as safe a job as any other. I have worked for 13 yrs in multiple higher end clubs and there has never been a safety issue concerning the girls. Would I be particularly thrilled that my kid wanted to be a stripper? No, but if she's smart about it and a grown adult, then so be it.

I'm in Human Resources, I know a thing or two about jobs and careers so as a profession, I have a different outlook on this.

As a mom though, if my son decides to do it, him and would have some in depth conversation and I support him full heartedly to find something that better suits him.
