how easy is it to get oral herpes?

I heard that it's pretty hard to contract type 1 herpes (cold sores) because most people get them when they're kids and their immune system isn't as strong.
Is this true?
& how likely is it that I'm gonna get cold sores from someone who has herpes?

You get cold sores from sharing things & kissing someone with a sore. If someone had an open sore & lets say they gave you oral then you would get hsv type 1 on your genitals if someone had genital herpes hsv type 2 & you gave them oral you would get hsv type 2 on your mouth

actually its very easy to get never kiss share lip balm or a cup or a face cloth , towel any personal things with someone who has them and never never let them go down on you with them either herpies simplex can turn into genital herpes.
