Should i count my miscarriage as the 1st day of my AF or should i wait to get a cycle which could take weeks or maybe a month

Kristin • Thu, Apr 27 • 27 married army 2 girls ( 3 & 8 ) expecting our 3rd and final princess. recent miscarriage (04/24) we found out our rainbow is due 02/13/18 :)

We sadly lost our baby at 6wks and 3days on Monday 04/24/17 and we had one doc saying i can count my miscarriage as a cycle (period) and track my next ovulation from that. But I also have another doc saying I need to wait to get a cycle after my miscarriage to figure out my ovulation. My tubes are clear and I don't need a d&c thank the lord and we are wanting to try again.
