Soo..question: would would you say?

So say a friend shows you a tattoo they want and wants to get your opinion, and it's such a basic generic tattoo they could pick and so many people have it. Would you talk them out of it politely? Or would you say it's a good idea to make them happy? I'm curious because I saw tattooists coming out and saying they secretly do judge the tattoos you get but can't say anything because it's just a customer thing, to do what they want . So I'm just wondering what you all would do.
