Is your 6 month old baby crawling?

Husband's family family says I have to put him on the floor to practice crawling or he'll get "brain damage"..(I don't care to force him to crawl because he loves standing and practicing how to walk.) I call bullsh*t, please let me what your doctor's said of you believe.

I clicked yes but meant no....I just woke up lol. My MIL says my son won't develop right if he doesn't crawl first...It's really annoying. I think he might be getting close to crawling but he never really gets tummy time so I'll be surprised if he crawls before he walks.

Some babies just kind of skip crawling all together? It's not going to give your baby brain damage though that's just plain ridiculous. My little cousin pretty much skipped real crawling. She never liked being on her stomach to ever learn it. Then she started just scooting across the floor on her butt rather than crawling. She never real crawled until after she learned to walk lol

Thats  bull... My daughter just turn six months yesterday she's not crawling yet but she gets up on all four and rocks her self back-and-forth. She's trying tho .. But she always hated being on her stomach .. She hated tummy time all she did was cry so i wouldn't put her on it and her doctor was impressed that she had strong neck muscle and could hold her own head at her 2 month and 4 month checkup..

Not crawling won't cause brain damage lol. My baby just turned 6 months and she doesn't really crawl but she can move. She pushes herself and rolls everywhere. The actual crawling isn't quite perfected.
