My husband went over to one of his friends houses tonight to play video games. Not surprising since he's always hanging out with some friend group, he's out four night a week with friends. We have two kids together so when he left I made dinner for the kids and figured I'd eat later. Well after the kids were in bed I decided I was too exhausted to cook (looking after two under two, SAHM) and decided to text my husband to grab food on his way home. This was around 10pm. He immediately responded with some funny gifs and asked what I wanted. I told him whatever was fine but later decided I want just a burger so I called him instead of texting to let him know. When he answered the phone it sounded like he was pissed I had called. He was really short and started asking why I needed food at this time of night and he didn't know when he was going to be home and that was it. But like he had been joking over text about picking up whatever I wanted 5 mins before I called. I'm super weirded out now and I'm suspicious about what he's doing and why there was such a night and day difference between the way he was over text vs how he was on the phone. Would ya'll be suspicious? Am I just being crazy and reading too much into this?
