Does birthing balls work?

Hey I'm trying to cause labor and I was wondering if anyone has had any success stories if they used a birthing ball? Did it cause contractions? I'm already 2cm 60% effaced. Thanks

I hope so, I'm constantly on my birthing ball, but only because I find our sofa so uncomfortable now. X

I'm trying to do the same. I did notice that when I was on it last night for an hour, after I got up it defo felt like something was lower in my vagina. It soon went away but maybe that means it's working

Wouldn't hurt! I would bounce on it so high! Lol! I did bouncing and hip circles on it. Helps get baby down more.
